There are a range of incentives available for people intending to install a green energy air, ground or solar water heating system. Whilst these opportunities vary through time we hope to cover the most current initiatives below.
Low Carbon Buildings Programme – Phase 1
If you're a householder interested in generating your own hot water, you can apply online for a grant on the Low Carbon Buildings web site.
You can apply for up to £2,500 per property towards the cost of microgeneration technologies including:
- Solar hot water
- Ground source heat pumps
- Air source heat pumps
Worcester Bosch Group
The Worcester Bosch Group is offering £1,500 cash-back to consumers on Greenstore ground source heat pumps throughout 2010.
Boiler Scrappage Scheme
A new package of environmentally friendly measures was unveiled in December 2009 by the Government which include a boiler scrappage scheme.
